Police bring order to Mamello

" They received the word from the informer that someone is selling liquor without a license."

SEDIBENG. – One suspect was arrested for selling liquor without a license in Mamello Informal Settlement, Vaal Marina on Tuesday.

The Vaal Marina police went ‘full scale’ to eliminate crime in the area.

Police spokesperson Constable Thabang Mothibe said that during their patrol duties, they received the word from the informer that someone is selling liquor without a license.

“They then went to the place and found out that the information was true, they the arrested one suspect for selling liquor without the license. They also confiscated the liquor worth the value of R5000.”

The Station Commander of Vaal Marina, Captain JB Greyling expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the members involved.

He also outlined the importance of working together as a team with relevant stakeholders, as it brings positive outcomes.
