VANDERBIJLPARK. – The Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) MMC for Public Safety, Lepulana Masenya, led a multi-stakeholder law enforcement operation on July 6.

The operation aimed at enforcing immigration regulations and ensuring compliance with municipal by-laws governing spaza shops and other business activities. It also focused on addressing illegal immigration, the operation of illegal spaza shops, and other by-law contraventions.

The initiative undertook these actions with the objective of promoting public safety, protecting consumers, and ensuring that businesses operate within the framework of the law.
