Sasol Foundation Bursaries open for 2027 academic year
The final date for submission of bursary applications is August 23.
SASOLBURG – Sasol Foundation bursaries are open for children of Sasol Khanyisa Shareholders who meet specific criteria for STEM and non-STEM studies.
“If you have a child completing matric this year or already doing 1st or 2nd year at university, please encourage them to apply,” is Sasol’s request to parents.
These comprehensive bursaries cover all costs related to university study, including tuition, accommodation, meals, book allowance, pocket money, laptop, and calculator allowance.
The programme primarily supports studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines, including Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Data Science and Environmental Sciences.
“A limited number of bursaries will also be awarded for selected non-STEM qualifications, including Accounting and Financial Sciences,” says Sasol in its press release.
Key eligibility criteria
The child must be a South African citizen by birth
The child must live in a household with a combined income of up to R800 000 a year
Proof of application to study at a South African public university for 2027 is also essential in the bursary application process.
