Pensioner (74) allegedly on the run from loan-sharks

Morena allegedly owes multiple loan sharks (Mashonisa) and instead of paying he avoids them.

SEBOKENG.- The Sebokeng police are investigating a case of a missing person after Morena Smith (74) was reported missing recently.

It is alleged that Morena Smith was last seen on July 04, this year, with his family in Sebokeng and he went to visit his relatives who also reside in Sebokeng area.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, said that Morena never returned home and no other relatives of his have seen him since.

He allegedly owes multiple loan sharks (Mashonisa) and instead of paying he avoids them.

“According to information, Morena allegedly owes multiple loan sharks (Mashonisa) and instead of paying he avoids them. Mortuary and Hospitals visited but Morena was not found. It is unknown what Morena was wearing upon his disappearance.”
