Wednesday’s Imbizo visits Ramaphosa Informal Settlement

Last Wednesday’s Imbizo was held at the Five-Fold Ministries Church.

SEDIBENG.- Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi, together with Members of the Executive Council and local government leadership from Emfuleni Local Municipality and Sedibeng District Municipality, lead the Gauteng Provincial Government’s Imbizo Wednesday’s programme at Ramaphosa Informal Settlement in Sedibeng.

Last Wednesday’s Imbizo was held at the Five-Fold Ministries Church.

Among the departments and entities were the Gauteng Roads and Transport Department, Gauteng Department of e-Government, Gauteng Health Department, Gauteng Department of Community Safety, and Department of Home Affairs.

One key commitment is the reopening of Rus-ter-Vaal Clinic.

“Government is bringing services closer to the people, while engaging directly with residents, listening to their concerns and responding to their needs,” said the Premier in his engagement with the community.

MEC for Health and Wellness, Faith Mazibuko also attended the event where she also engaged directly with community members from Rus-ter-Vaal and Ramaphosa Informal Settlement.

She listened to the health-related challenges raised by residents and responded to their concerns, reaffirming the Gauteng Government’s commitment to ensuring that communities have access to quality and responsive healthcare services.

“One key commitment is the reopening of Rus-ter-Vaal Clinic that is currently under renovation”, she said.
