SEBOKENG.- Vaal Juventus FC have been crowned the winners of the first Annual Heist of Combo Diski Challenge U21 tournament.

The champions secured their victory after a tense final against their bitter rivals, Ben 10 FC, winning 4-3 in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The tournament took place at the Mighty Flowers ground in Zone 10, running from June 13 to June 16.
The main aim of the initiative was to bring together talented young footballers from across the region for a weekend of exciting matches, sportsmanship, and community unity.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Thabo Mathinye said the challenge showcased the importance of developing young talent while providing a platform for players to display their skills. The local community turned out in large numbers to support the youngsters, creating an exciting atmosphere as parents and fans cheered on their favourite teams.

It was a great final between these two teams.

Mathinye expressed gratitude to the local organising committee, participating teams, match officials, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who made the event a great success. He offered special appreciation to the sponsors and stakeholders whose generous support made the tournament possible.

An individual prize was also handed out, with the Player of the Tournament award given to the most outstanding player of the competition.
