Sukuma Lutsha hosts successful 6th Visceral Fat Challenge

SEBOKENG. — Fitness enthusiasts and families gathered in their numbers at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre recently for the sixth annual Visceral Fat Challenge, hosted by Sukuma Lutsha Developments NPC.
The health and wellness day kicked off at 06:00 with a high-energy start before the formal proceedings began at 08:00 with morning declarations, the national anthem, and a welcoming address.
The event featured contributions from a range of community and institutional stakeholders.

Notable speeches were delivered by Peter Kele from Community Safety, Lucas Sehanka from the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, and Mamasole Mofokeng from the Rural Women’s Assembly. Further contributions came from Thessa Phiri of Social Development, Fikile Makwe from Health, Nkhensani Hlongwane of Nkanyezi Naledi Clinix Hospital, Palesa Mokoena, Portia from Black Diamond, and the organisation’s founder, Luthando William Bottoman.

Participants enjoyed a packed fitness schedule led by a strong team of instructors, featuring functional training, Hi-Lo, step aerobics, boxing, and bootcamp sessions.
Families were also catered for with a dedicated children’s corner, ensuring attendees of all ages could join in the day. The highlight of the challenge was the prize-giving ceremony celebrating the top three participants.
1st Prize: Morongwe Christine Mahlase — R2 000
2nd Prize: Zanele Mboyana — R1 500
3rd Prize: Lerato Vila — R1 000
