SEBOKENG.- Sebokeng Brazil FC was crowned the 2026 Heist of Combos Diski Challenge U12 Champions thanks to Olwethu Modisane’s standout performance.

This young star led his team to the title, delivering a Player of the Tournament performance.

He was instrumental when Sebokeng Brazil beat Vaal Gardens Sports Academy in a nail-biting final at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre in Zone 14 on Saturday.

This annual tournament saw local teams battling against each other.

It was a great advert for development football, with these future Bafana Bafana stars showcasing their talent. Parents came in numbers to support their children. Young Modisane gave his opponents all sorts of trouble every time he got possession.

His ability to eliminate two or three players was something to marvel at, with his individual brilliance delighting the crowd. His control of the ball gave you the idea that the ball didn’t want to leave his feet.

This Heist of Combo Diski Challenge U12 Tournament is the best thing to happen in the community. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport after his standout performance, Modisane said he was happy that his team was crowned tournament champions.

He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this time they came into the tournament well prepared to win it.
Teboho Mathinye, who is the tournament coordinator, said this year’s tournament was a great success.

“Every year this tournament grows, especially the standard of football. The competition was high this year. Thank you to the coaches and players for making this tournament exciting,” said Mathinye.

All participating teams received Heist of Combos Diski Challenge soccer kits, and the winners received a trophy and medals.
