Vereeniging police station closed due to Covid-19 related incident

All communities seviced by the Vereeniging police station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed for decontamnation after one member tested positive for Covid- 19.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda says, “Community Service Centre will be operating from the reservists offices next to Sasol garage  on the corner of Voortrekker and Smuts streets.

“The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by the Vereeniging SAPS. ”

Funda states that the telephone lines at Vereeniging police station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of closure.

“The building will be undergoing dicontamination and will be back to normal on Saturday 04 December.”

The SAPS Management apologises for any inconvenience caused by the closure.
