SEBOKENG.- Ordridge Dingalo, a multi-talented South African musician and arts educator, with a strong presence in jazz performance, music collaborations, and arts education across Gauteng and beyond is about to reach audiences worldwide with the highly anticipated release of his latest project, ‘Tears at Morning Prayer’.
The album was officially released on Sunday, April 5, and will be available across all major digital platforms.
Blending gospel-inspired melodies with heartfelt jazz improvisation, Dingalo’s music captures the spirit of worship and reflection. Recorded in a church setting, the album resonates with themes of faith, resilience, and emotional healing.

Born in Sebokeng, Dingalo is a versatile South African musician, educator, and arts facilitator, known for his performances in jazz, live concerts, and collaborations with prominent artists.
He began formal artistic training at Funda Community College in Soweto, earning a Diploma in Fine Arts, and further obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specializing in Arts Education.
In 2001, he participated in the Cross Culture student exchange program in Widnes-Cheshire, England, to enhance his artistic skills. Upon returning to South Africa, he furthered his knowledge through courses in music, life skills, facilitation, healthcare, monitoring and evaluation, and sales and marketing.
Dingalo has worked with acclaimed artists
Dingalo is a multi-instrumentalist, performing as a vocalist, percussionist, saxophonist, and clarinet player. He has collaborated with jazz bands such as Bow & Arrow Jazz Band, Sharpeville Swing Stars, New Blood Jazz Band, Shef and the Kitchen, and 7th Chord Jazz Band.

He has performed at notable events including the 2nd Moribo Live Jazz Concert, Sedibeng Jazz Foundation Awards, and the Lesotho Tourism Festival.
Notably, he has worked alongside prominent South African artists, including Steve Kekana, Thami Sobekwa, Mercy Pakela, and international performers like Salif Keita, Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, and Hugh Masekela.
Without a doubt, his versatility has made him a respected figure in South Africa’s arts and music scene, both as a performer and educator. His work is available on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Beatport, SoundCloud, and TIDAL.
