Merlewood Primary pupils flip pancakes

Pupils got the opportunity to take stock, make pancakes and sell.

MERLEWOOD Primary’s gr 7 and 8 pupils were invited by Checkers, Southcoast Mall, to take part in a ‘pancake day’ as part of the EMS curriculum. They were afforded the experience of running their ‘own business’ for a day and got the opportunity to take stock, make pancakes and sell. It was a fun learning experience and pupils made a profit, which was donated to the school. Much appreciation is extended to Checkers for this great initiative.
