Family lights up children’s Christmas

The Kent Road home is transformed into a wonderland.

THE Dunn family loves Christmas and when the festive season comes around Hannes, Ellie, Noelie and Christie really get into the Christmas spirit.

For a start, they put a great deal of effort into decorating their home in Kent Road, Margate. In fact, they turn it into an illuminated Christmas wonderland that always attracts plenty of attention and compliments.

But for them Christmas is more than pretty lights. It is about love and family togetherness and about sharing Christmas cheer with those less fortunate than them.

This year they switched on the Christmas lights and invited 15 children from a place of safety to visit their home for a special Christmas party.

It was a night of fun and laughter under the lights for the young guests who enjoyed every moment of their festive season treat. They loved the party hats they were given and were thrilled when Santa made a surprise arrival to hand out packets of sweets.
