Mrs Bold 2024 preps for pageant in USA

The South Coast’s Mrs Bold 2024, Cynthia Dumakude, is set to fly the South African and African flag high.

Cynthia heads to the United States this October to represent the African continent at the prestigious Mrs Transcontinental Finals.

Cynthia was crowned Mrs Bold in October 2024, a title that recognised not only her grace and confidence, but also her dedication to community service.

Her journey from humble beginnings in a rural community to becoming a continental representative is a powerful story of resilience, purpose and determination.

“This is more than just about me, it is about carrying the dreams of women, mothers and young girls across Africa who dare to believe that their background does not define their future,” said Cynthia.

The Mrs Transcontinental Finals will take place in the USA from October 13 to 19, bringing together women from across the globe to celebrate leadership, empowerment and the beauty of making a difference.

Since her crowning, Cynthia has spearheaded several impactful charity projects, including a school shoes campaign which donated over 1000 pairs of shoes to learners in need.

The Dignity Drive provided sanitary pads and self-care products to young girls.
Another project was a Winter Warmth Drive where she collected blankets and warm clothing for underprivileged families.

At an Easter drive, she distributed Easter eggs to children in disadvantaged communities, and the Wheels of Hope Campaign collected and donated wheelchairs to those in need.

Instead of public voting, each contestant has been given a personalised pledge link. This link allows family, friends and supporters to contribute directly to the Pledge Campaign, which supports charitable initiatives through the pageant.
