The South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise (SCTIE) invites travellers to embrace the warmer weather by exploring the diverse outdoor adventures and natural attractions that make the KZN South Coast one of South Africa’s premier spring destinations.
With spring signalling longer days and ideal outdoor conditions, the South Coast remains an adventure for family-friendly experiences.
Whether it’s hiking through indigenous forests, paddling along scenic rivers, teeing off on championship golf courses or exploring iconic nature attractions, the region offers something for every type of traveller.
Adventure enthusiasts can experience the breathtaking views of Oribi Gorge, tackle the famous zipline and suspension bridge, or enjoy guided hikes to hidden waterfalls such as Nyandezulu Waterfall. Other attractions are authentic cultural and nature adventures, wildlife encounters and mountain biking.
Along the coastline, visitors can kayak, surf, snorkel or paddle in the warm Indian Ocean.
The region also lives up to its reputation as the Golf Coast, boasting 11 outstanding golf courses set against dramatic ocean views and tranquil natural surroundings, making it one of the country’s leading golfing destinations.
SCTIE CEO Dr Vusumuzi Sibiya said spring presents the perfect opportunity to showcase the diversity of experiences available across the destination.
