72 players participate in Village Eagles charity golf day

The golf course was in good condition.

Umdoni Park Golf Course was the venue for the Village Eagles Charity Day on September 20.

Seventy-two players attended the special day. The golf course was in good condition.

Special thanks to the staff for providing the Eagles with the privilege of competing at Umdoni Park. The weather was beautiful, and it was a perfect day for golf.

The competition was a better-ball Stableford. Prizes were awarded from first to last place. There were also many lucky-draw prizes, ranging from fantastic hampers to special gifts.

The winners on the day were Ronald King and Basil King with 47 points.

Thanks go to Vinnie and Pam in the pro shop for calculating the results. Eddie Mathews presented the results.

Thanks go to sponsors who made the day special and enjoyable. Also, a special thanks go to Pat White and Rick St John of the Village Eagles for the effort that was put into promoting the day and for all the prizes for the players.
