VIDEO: Hoërskool Waterkloof principal in Pretoria jumps out of air plane to welcome new year

Chris Denysschen did the unthinkable to ring in the new school year at Hoërskool Waterkloof on Wednesday morning.

The school year started off with a bang at Hoërskool Waterkloof in the east of Pretoria on Wednesday, Rekord East reports.

Much to the learners’ excitement, the school’s new principal, Chris Denysschen, parachuted out of an air plane and landed on the school grounds.

“What better way to start off the new academic year, at Pretoria’s best school, than jumping out of an air plane to welcome all learners to this wonderful year?” Denysschen said.

Exciting music, learners’ screams and clapping of thousands of hands could be heard in the background.

“I am still shaking from this experience, but it is one of the most exciting things I have ever done. What a way to start the new school year!” Denysschen said.
