UPDATE: Missing Tweni girls found safe

The community and all roleplayers have been thanked for their support during the search for the three girls.

Three girls who went missing yesterday have been found safe.

According to reports, the girls were found by Southport Saps walking along the R102, and taken to the police station.

The community, Port Shepstone Saps Search and Rescue, Lazer 911, Mi7, Tweni CPF, Southport Saps and all other role players have been thanked for assisting in the search.

A search party scoured the area from Tweni Beach to Southport Beach into the early hours of this morning, as the community rallied to find the girls.

The matter will be investigated by the police.
