Tablers help keep police covered

AWARE that the brave policemen who patrol the South Coast streets, sometimes risking their lives, are under equipped, Port Shepstone Round Tablers decided to do something about it.

In Ramsgate, policemen use motorcycles to patrol and to respond to distress calls. However, the helmets they were using were badly in need of replacement.

When the Round Tablers heard about this they sourced four helmets in good condition. These were handed over directly to the police officers at a Ramsgate Community Policing Forum office.
