AS SPORT winds down at Creston College, the focus has turned to assessments and exams.
Last Friday, gr 2 classes hosted a brilliant mini market day for the rest of the pupils from both the senior and junior primary phases, which entailed each child producing an item to market and sell.

It is evident that there are many budding entrepreneurs in the group, as there were some excellent handmade products on sale. Each group of pupils had to design their product, produce, market, and then sell it. In addition to this, they had to learn to work with money, do mental calculations and make sure that at the end of the day they had made a good profit.
Meanwhile, both the junior primary and pre-primary phases hosted orientation days for parents of new 2014 pupils. These events were well attended with tremendous interest shown in what was on offer, and the headmaster and deputy headmaster addressed parents on various items pertaining to the new academic year.
