MARGATE Primary grades 2 and 3 played their first competitive mini cricket match in a tournament at Suid-Natal Primêr recently. They all played very well and had lots of fun at the same time.
Last week saw the start of exams for pupils in grades 4-7. Grades 5 and 7 are still busy this week, but for all others, this week is a time of reflection and a little relaxation. The grade 6s enjoyed improving their ball skills, whilst having great fun doing so. Pupils are also testing their brain skills by playing chess.
The gr 3’s end of year play is well under way and will be presented from November 26. The play includes much dancing and singing and all are looking forward, with great anticipation, to this popular annual event.
