MEGAN Bircher has been on her bicycle again, competing in the ‘Mountain Splendour Mania’ in the Drakensberg this past weekend, coming second in the U12 20km race and second overall.
The grade 4s went on their annual tour to Sweetdale Camp last Thursday and Friday. There was great excitement, as this tour is the first where they spent a night away. All pupils took part in the many fun activities, such as balancing their way through a rope bridge, rock climbing, and even going down the ‘Supertube’. The pupils had lots of fun and really enjoyed their time away.
Port Edward Primary will be hosting a ‘Carols by Torchlight’ this year on the school field on November 27 at 5.30pm. Everyone is welcome. Sing some carols and wear a Christmas hat to join in on the Christmas festivities.
