ECR’s Toy Story comes to the coast

More than 100 toys were handed out.

TEAMS from East Coast Radio and Game descended, with bags of toys, on the South Coast on Wednesday afternoon. More than a hundred toys were distributed as part of East Coast Radio’s Toy Story with Game, with teams visiting Port Shepstone Regional Hospital, Murchison District Hospital and GJ Crookes Hospital.

The ECR team, headed by presenter Sirshin Moodliar, handed out toys to children in paediatric wards, bringing joy and smiles to dozens of faces. “ We are very excited about the visit,” says Dr Busie Dlamini from Port Shepstone Regional Hospital. “You guys have brought big smiles to the children here. Some of them have never owned toys in their lives and most of our little patients’ parents can’t afford Christmas gifts so this is an exciting day for everyone.”
