LINDY Malinga of Margate Primary headed a team of girls who took it upon themselves to support the Sizabantu Organisation. They held a cake sale at the school and raised more than R1 000, but are also appealing for donations of toys and clothes to afford the less fortunate a better Christmas. The school is really grateful for donations already received, but need more, and anyone wishing to help these enterprising girls should contact Margate Primary directly.
‘The Green Queen’, the gr 3 year-end play, commenced on Tuesday with pupils performing to packed audiences. Beautifully designed sets adorned the stage and all performers played their parts with enthusiasm.
