HIBISCUS Mall rolled out the red carpet for a bevy of beauties, and a few beaus, last Saturday. A packed audience cheered on the 61 contestants who competed for the titles Mr and Miss Valentine.
Even busy shoppers forgot about last minute shopping at the mall to watch the stunning contestants go through their routines on the ramp. Organiser Stacey Upfold of Ultimate Events said that she had had an excellent turnout.
“It must have been a nightmare for the judges, Leoni Martin, Wayne Voster and Simeshka Rajcomaar as choosing a winner from a selection of gorgeous girls and guys could, at best, have been a difficult task as every one of them was beautifully dressed and made up”, she said.
The contestants were judged on first impressions, their walk, vitality and exuberance. After much deliberating winners were chosen and all received splendid prizes.
