PORT Shepstone Junior Primary’s grades 1, 2 and 3 cricket teams took part in a mini-cricket tournament held at Suid-Natal Primêr last Saturday. Pupils demonstrated good teamwork and sportsmanship while exercising great cricket skills in various matches. Thanks go to parents for their great support and to the dedicated teachers for their sterling coaching, as well as to Suid-Natal Primêr for excellent hosting.
Gr 1 pupils have been learning about different types of food, healthy eating habits and good table manners in life skills and as a follow-up, pupils painted their own place mats, which will be taken home.
Congratulations to pupils Yusuf Haffejee, Siphesihle Nkomo, Afika Madolo, Eyethu Mkize, Cameron Jugawanth, Thembela Xolo, Yanga Mbuthuma, Isabella Ogle, Kaitlyn Govender, Kwandile Ndlovu, Limpho Mbhele and Uwais Desai, who were selected as school monitors.
