PSSP had a good sporting week

Seven girls qualified and have progressed to the next round of netball trials.

THIRTEEN Port Shepstone Senior Primary pupils took part in the lower South Coast swimming gala hosted by Southcity College last Friday. Well done to Tiffanny Morrison and Andrew Starling who excelled and were placed first in backstroke and breaststroke respectively.

The netball girls were also put through their paces at the circuit netball trials last Thursday at Hoërskool Suid-Natal. Seven girls qualified and have progressed to the next round of trials.

Ben Junior Malamba and Micah Naidoo represented the Southern KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union at the U11 KZN cricket festival held at Cator Manor College last week. The boys are awaiting news regarding selections for the KZN U11 squad.

U14 volleyball teams took part in a volleyball tournament held at the Marburg Sports Complex last Saturday, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams advancing to the semi-finals. After putting on a brave fight, the teams unfortunately lost to Hlanganani and Marburg Primary respectively.

The final assessments of the term are under way with both pupils and teachers hard at work, ahead of the term end.
