HIBBERDENE Academy’s Trailblazers group attended a Methodist Church camp in Southport last weekend. A wonderful weekend of fun and fellowship was experienced by all pupils who attended. Many thanks go to Peter Richards for the use of his beach cottage, his generosity is appreciated. Thanks also go to Ken Walker for the planning, transport and spiritual care. Ken is such a father-figure and caring mentor to pupils, guiding and advising them through personal problems encountered. Thanks also to Grace and Colin Bossert, who helped with the organising and control.
Standardised tests are being completed for all grades in all subjects, so brains are burning! The matric ball will be held this coming Saturday (22nd) at Zizi’s restaurant, Umdlalo Lodge, Umtentweni, from 6pm, and promises to be a fabulous evening of music and fun.
