Cansa says thank you

Certificates of appreciation were handed out to all sponsors and those who assisted in making this year's Relay for Life a success.

CANSA South Coast held an appreciation evening at Palm Manor in Umtentweni last Tuesday to thank all those who sponsored and helped at this year’s Relay for Life.

Certificates of appreciation were  presented, and a special award went to Keith Evans who walked an amazing 200 laps during the relay.

The prize for the best dressed team was awarded to Hope on the Move and best team poster prize was won by Harvey World Travel.

Hope on the Move was also the winner in the most funds raised by an individual team category, while the most funds raised by a corporate team award went to Beekman Brothers. Sunshine Sisters took the team spirit award.

The occasion was also tinged with sadness as the association bade farewell to Michelle Carless, who had chaired the Relay for Life committee for the past three years.
