PS JUNIOR Primary’s interhouse gala was held last Saturday with lots of fun for both parents and swimmers. Swimmers showed excellent team spirit. Kudos to all staff and especially sports coaches Roxanne Vahey and Yolanda Starbuck for all the hard work put into making this gala successful.
One of two major fund-raisers for the year, namely the swimathon, was held last week. Swimmers were very excited to see how many widths of the pool they could swim and in the end, a record amount of R28 000 was collected. This money will go towards class CDs, as well as the classroom air conditioner fund.
Congratulations to the following pupils selected as school monitors, Jeston Chetty, Khanyokuhle Khamanga, Olwethu Mbili, Shaun-Lee Mthiyane, Xolani Mavundla, Awethu Nzama, Yash Bechoo, Khanyisa Nzimande, Tiarsh Pillay, Adhya Devnarain, Ayabonga Mzelemu and Moosa Salejee.
