PORT Shepstone Primary bids farewell to a long-serving member of staff, namely Pravashnie Mangray, a foundation phase teacher who joined the school in 2002 and will be relocating to Gauteng with her family.
Mrs Mangray has been a dedicated and committed teacher at Port Shepstone Primary and will be sorely missed. Staff and pupils wish the Mangray family every success for the future.
On March 20, a special assembly was held at the school to commemorate Human Rights Day and gr 7 pupil Lusanda Miya addressed pupils on the significance of the holiday.
On Tuesday this week, grade 4 girls were vaccinated against cervical cancer, a programme that forms part of the Department of Health’s national initiative and vaccinations were only done with parental consent.
School closes tomorrow, March 28 at 10.30am and report cards will be issued to pupils.
