MARGATE Primary’s junior phase held its annual interhouse gala last Thursday. It was very exciting with points changing the positions of houses constantly. It was the last relay that determined the winner, namely Mitchell house, followed by Reid and then Hammond. The ‘Teddy’ was awarded to the house captains, Kerryn Schonken and Landon Windvogel.
The parents’ evening went well, with many parents attending to examine their child’s work. It is important that parents show an interest in work being done throughout the year, because it becomes an incentive for pupils to perform at their best.
