Stonecroft women get fashion tips

Changing a simple garment with a few accessories can make a world of difference.

WOMEN who gathered at Stonecroft Ministries’ monthly tea at Port Shepstone Country Club last Friday were fascinated with guest speaker Vanessa Howard-Tripp’s interesting talk on `A winter wardrobe and accessories’.

She encouraged the women to look their best before leaving the house. “You can change any basic garment into something spectacular with a few accessories. The five must-have fashion items for your winter wardrobe should include boots, leggings, scarves, hats and sweaters,” said Mrs Howard-Tripp.

Mike Webster and his team started the morning off with a French love song before the women indulged in the tasty eats laid out on the tables.

Alta Buitendach shared her interesting life story. She said that she applied the word of God during difficult situations in her life. “A situation that seems impossible can be turned around, if we turn to God and believe in His word,” said Mrs Buitendach.

Stonecroft Ministries’ next meeting will be on Friday, April 25. Alexis Mortimer of Saffron Chefs will showcase her culinary skills and the main speaker for the morning is Nicky Polinsky. Book with Maria at 039 3812801.
