Ugu to take its budget to the people

The community will get a chance to have an input on the draft budget.

COMMUNITIES are requested to attend Ugu district’s IDP and budget road shows 2014 which will take place this month.

The road shows will give communities the opportunity to scrutinise and comment on the budget and the affairs of the municipalities.

Ugu will visit the following wards on these dates: Buhlebogu Skills Centre ward 7, April 8 at 10am.

Ezinqoleni Municipality:  Mishiwa Community Hall in ward 1, April 13, at 10am, KwaNdunu Community Hall, at 10am, and Ezinqoleni Community Hall in ward 6, at 10am.

Umzumbe Municipality will be in Ntshangwe Ground ward 6, April 7 in Cluster D, at 10 am.

Umuziwabantu Municipality:  Ocingweni Hall ward 4, April 9, at 10am and Umuziwabantu Town Hall in ward 3, at 5pm.

Hibiscus Coast Municipality: Amanzimhlophe cluster 6, April 16, at 10 am, Impenjathi Sports field cluster 7, April 17, at 10am, Olwandle High School in cluster 4, on April 22 at 10am, JB Sports field in cluster 1, on April 25 at 10am, Margate Town Hall in cluster 5,  at 5pm, Maveshe Hall cluster 3, on April 28 at 10am and at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre in Cluster cluster 2 on April 29 at 5pm.
