Santa Shoebox pledges still open ahead of weekend drop-off

If you would like to give a child in need a special Christmas gift, you can drop off a shoebox at Southcoast Mall this Friday or Saturday.

Pledges for the Santa Shoebox Project are still open, allowing the South Coast community to bring Christmas joy to children in need.

The public can support the initiative by choosing a child and filling a shoebox with carefully selected gifts and essential items, ensuring every child experiences the excitement of receiving a Christmas present.

A drop-off event will be held at Southcoast Mall this Friday (November 6), from 09:00 to 16:00, and Saturday, November 7, from 09:00 to 17:00.

This year’s message, “I remember feeling chosen”, encourages donors to make children feel valued and special during the festive season.

Residents are urged to make a pledge and support the project in bringing smiles to children who might otherwise go without a Christmas gift.
