Brian’s book is officially launched
The book is a lively and honest account of a life lived to the fullest, says its author.
BRIAN Danckwerts launched his book ‘GRO – a Rhodesian Saga’ at Mbango Valley Hall on Monday.
He revealed that he hadn’t planned on publishing the book. “I found myself at leisure to look back and reflect on my life,” he said.
Mr Dankwerts added that he decided to put it on paper. He said that it was originally meant for family and close friends, but decided to publish it at the encouragement of those who read the early version.
The book also includes a simple recipe for success, the ingredients being knowledge, application and foresight, tempered with compassion.
