THE FUNERAL service for late deputy principal Sikhumbuzo Mbatha was held at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre last Saturday. The principal, staff and governing body would like to express sincere thanks to the community for the many messages of support received during the sad loss of a dear friend, teacher and colleague.
A special gathering held at the school last Friday to pay tribute to Ms Mbatha was attended by staff, senior pupils, school governing board members, invited guests from the local community and representatives from the Department of Education.
PSSP had a good turnout of parents last Thursday afternoon, where parents had the opportunity to meet teachers to discuss pupils’ academic performance.
Gr 6 pupils enjoyed a successful outing to uShaka Marine World in Durban last Thursday, where they learnt about life under the sea and were treated to a dolphin display.
Parents are reminded to study the term calendar very carefully. School will close this Thursday, April 17 at 2pm and resume on Tuesday, April 22. School will close again on Friday, April 25 and reopen on Monday, May 5.
