Church changes lives

The church provides needy schoolchildren with sandwiches.

GATE Ministries Port Shepstone, previously known as Kairos Ministries, was founded in 1998 when Pastor Reggie and Sandy John decided to leave behind the structure of a large denomination and start a new ministry.

As time passed, Pastor Reggie felt that God wanted the church to move to a different spiritual level and, with that, a change in its name took place.

A prophetic word was spoken by visiting prophet, Shaun Blignaut, and Kairos Ministries was renamed Gate Ministries Port Shepstone.

Two ministries were born through the church namely, Bread of Heaven, which started as an inter-church ministry and provides needy children with sandwiches every school day, as well as The Mustard Seed newspaper, started in 2002, which serves as a platform to bring news of the Kingdom of God to the public. These ministries are still active today.

The church operates with an apostolic reformation mindset, one in which the religious practices and traditions of men have been replaced with accurate Bible principles.

Gate Ministries enjoys a strong relationship with renowned, authentic apostles and prophets who have imparted their grace to this ministry. The church is networked with the family of churches under the apostleship of Thamo Naidoo.
