JUNIOR Primary’s parents’ evening and book evening was very well attended and the library stock swelled by 350 new books generously donated by parents. Parents visited classrooms, had a chance to look through pupils’ workbooks, admire the art and enjoy a social cup of tea.
Congratulations to gr 3 pupils Nokukhanya Ncwana, Ali Sayed, Ziphezinhle Ndlovu, Khumbulani Mazibuko, Jennifer-Rose Douglas, Ntando Gcwensa, Aidan Nagiah, Amaarah Ebrahim, Khethelo Ngubelanga, Zea Moodley, Aphiwe Bulose and Olwama Msomi who have been selected as school monitors.
PSJP is very excited about seven new interactive whiteboards that have been installed throughout gr 3 classrooms, as well as the computer room. Gr 3 teachers thoroughly enjoyed last week’s training.
Pupils have been hard at work collecting bread packet sealers, which will go towards donating a wheelchair to a well-deserving recipient.
PSJP pupils who take part in Gymbo-kidz every Wednesday were delighted to have the Easter Bunny join in to exercise with them and dish out delicious marshmallow Easter eggs at the end of the lesson.
