ENXOLOBENI Primary received a brand new soccer kit and soccer equipment from Engen Shelly Convenience Centre last Friday.
Enxolobeni Primary principal Theo Zobolo said the school is very excited about the new kit. “The soccer kit will take our sport to another level,” said the principal.
“We as Enxolobeni Primary understand that not all pupils are academics, but some are good in sport. That is why we have made it our mission to improve sporting facilities at our schools,” he explained.
The school has involved different sectors to help improve sports at the school and has recently had a new sports field built, as well as R35 000 donated to them by their twin school based in the UK, and this money will be used to buy soccer, rugby and netball goalposts.
Mr Zobolo said the school is extremely excited about the new sporting facilities and kit. “I believe sport is one way that we can keep our children away from crime and drugs,” he said.
