Woodgrange Primary pupils enjoy a dream holiday

All pupils returned safely and were extremely animated regarding the many unique experiences enjoyed.

WOODGRANGE Primary’s gr 7 pupils had a magnificent free four-day holiday at the Hibberdene Mercury Children’s Holiday Home and were warmly embraced by manageress Bev Marais upon arrival. A team of energetic and compassionate adult team leaders also welcomed pupils heartily.

The four-day stint was jam-packed with activities ranging from team building and leadership activities, basketball, movies, talent shows, beach walks, jumping castles, trampoline theatrics, board games, swimming, etcetera and pupils were over the moon when they received special gifts during their stay.

Woodgrange pupils forged new friendships quickly and freely with pupils from other schools, and parents were thrilled that their children were given this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Acting principal Dr Maliga Chetty expresses her thanks and gratitude to Bev for the generosity, love and compassion demonstrated throughout the visit, as well as to Derick and Dorah Vilakazi for chaperoning pupils.
