THIS week, students who are training as psychometrists at Northwest University (Vaal Triangle campus) visited Hibberdene Academy to conduct psychometric tests on gr 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 classes, which forms part of the practical section of their degree.
The students are under the guidance of their senior lecturer and registered psychologist, Elrie Botha and these tests are really helpful in guiding pupils towards life after school, an extremely important part of the curriculum. Hibberdene Academy welcomes Mrs Botha and the students and trusts they will enjoy their stay on the South Coast.
The ‘weather gods’ were kind to Hibberdene Academy last Friday and pupils and spectators enjoyed a fun-filled day of action, war cries and copious quantities of loud encouragement from team members.
The matric class of 2014 is to be congratulated on running an efficient and really enjoyable day for pupils from gr RR to gr 12. Everyone was able to take part and, for those who were not, more lessons were learned than can ever be expected in class.
