Margate Primary pupils visit the past

Pupil behaviour and punctuality was exceptional during all matches at the PSSP winter sports day.

PUPILS from Margate Primary’s Eco Club had an exciting Saturday morning, thanks to the Ramsgate Conservancy and the

Green Thinkers. Pupils were treated to an awesome walk along the beach, where experts Dave Halle and Paddy Norman told them about the flora, fauna and rock formations that date back billions of years.

They also learned about scuba diving on the South Coast. Snacks were kindly sponsored by the Ramsgate Conservancy and the South Coast Herald.

The U11 and U13 boys and girls took part in the Port Sheptone Senior Primary winter sports day last Saturday, playing soccer, rugby, netball and hockey. All teams did very well, and as the emphasis was on fun and not scores, everyone had a great time.
