Speedster clocked doing over 200 km/h

The motorist refused to stop.

A SPEED freak, who clocked 212km/h on the highway near Albersville, Port Shepstone refused to stop when ordered to do so by Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) officers on Sunday, May 18 at 11.30am.

However, the driver, Neil Joseph Selling, aged 34, did not get that far, despite his attempts to evade arrest.

A road block was set up in Park Rynie and he was subsequently arrested by RTI officers in that area.

Mr Selling, who is believed to be from Port Shepstone, appeared in court this week and his case was postponed until today, Monday, May 26, to allow for further investigation.
