SO OFTEN it seems that certain people are given more tragedy in their lives than is fair! Well-known Leisure Bay resident, Pam Gilson, lost her husband, Warrick, a few years ago, but stoically adapted to being widowed and continued playing bowls and pursuing her normal activities.
Last Saturday, her son, Craig, who farmed in Kokstad, was hunting with his son, Cliff, and other friends, in the Underberg area, when he collapsed and died from a suspected heart attack. One of the men had shot an eland and when they looked back he was lying down on the ground.
Heartfelt condolences are extended to Pam over this sad time.
