Queens are crowned

ENTRANTS from all over the South Coast took part in the Miss Lions’ Expo 2014 contest held in the giant events marquee last Sunday. The contest started off with the semi-finals on Saturday morning followed by the finals and crowning on Sunday morning. Organised by Stacey Upfold of Ultimate Events, the contest was divided into four age categories, three to six years, seven to 10 years, 11 to 14 years and 15 to 24 years. Thirty-five contestants did a splendid job modelling their glamorous outfits, which made it really difficult for the judges to come to a decision. Even busy fairgoers forgot about their lunch (and the bar) and took time out to watch the lovely lasses take to the ramp.
