TEMPERATURES soared and berg winds threatened to blow down the tents at RA Engar’s sports day last Friday. But the strong spirit of the pupils, supporters and parents resulted in the event being a success.
Many fun novelty events were included this year, such as a waiters’ race, sack race, egg and spoon race, and a medicine ball race, to encourage more pupils to take part.
Lotus house was clearly the strongest, taking the lead right from the beginning. Protea followed closely while Tulip and Rose decided to just enjoy the day, taking third and fourth places respectively.
