A NASTY fight broke out between two men at the roadside in Sea Park yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. Both appeared to be heavily under the influence of alcohol.
One of the men stabbed the other in the face and body with a broken glass bottle. This man retaliated by picking up the handle of a pickaxe with which he beat his assailant.
Both were badly injured.
Bystanders were horrified. Some stepped in to break up the fight while others phoned the police and paramedics, who were quick to respond. The fight is believed to have started over R6.
