A COUPLE in their mid-thirties was held at knife point at their home in Trafalgar, last Sunday at around 9pm.
According to police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka, the couple heard someone banging on the door. “They asked who was there but no one responded. A few seconds later the door was broken down and two men, armed with knives, entered the house.”
The attackers demanded cash. “They were told that if they don’t hand over money, they would be killed,” said Capt Mfeka.
One of the attackers then stabbed the man in the right hand. The thieves fled, taking cash and bank cards. No arrests have been made.
