A NUMBER of sport fixtures took place against Creston and Southcity Colleges last week. The senior hockey boys put on a great performance against Creston and after a tough match and excellent skill displayed by centre link, George McDonald, drew 3–3. Other teams have shown great improvement but have to practise very hard in preparation for the next encounter at Suid-Natal Primary’s Winter Sports Day this coming Saturday.
Congratulations to PSSP swimming stars, Tiffany Morrison and Andrew Starling who recently received LSC swimming colours.
As part of the school’s social and community responsibility, pupils and teachers helped raise funds for Child Welfare in support of Child Protection Week. A total of R2 980.60 was collected and will be handed over at a special assembly tomorrow (6th).
The school will also be supporting Bread of Heaven’s family fun day this Saturday at Jai Hind Primary’s sports grounds. Pupils will be taking part in a 5km walk, volleyball and talent shows.
Last week’s photograph welcoming PSSP’s new receptionist was incorrectly captioned, so once again, a warm welcome to Lindumusa Mdlozini, who is taking over from Gail Coffey and is wished good luck with his new position.
