A GREAT deal of sport took place in the junior and senior primary sections of Creston College last week. Junior Primary hosted a midweek interschool winter sport fixture for South Coast primary schools which was well attended by parents from all the different schools.
What made this event special was that schools were encouraged to enter ‘B’ teams in order to allow pupils who do not always get a chance to play in a team the thrill of running out for their school.
Suid-Natal Primary hosted sport for both the senior and junior sections of primary schools last Saturday and schools as far afield as Durban took part.
Last week, Creston’s gr 1 pupils were invited to bring their pets to school for the first period of the day so there was much barking and excitement before class. Pets are so important in children’s lives and meeting fellow pupils’ animals was a lot of fun.
